Analysis of Anemia Incidence Determinants among Female Students at Islamic Boarding School Al Hidayah 2 Bangkalan

The incidence of anemia is common in adolescent girls. Anemia causes decreased learning achievement due to lack concentration. This research aimed analyze the determinant factors associated with female students at Islamic Boarding School Al Hidayah 2 Bangkalan. was observational analytic, a cross sectional design. population and sample size 72 people. independent variables include menstrual patterns, sleep consumption patterns food sources iron nutritional status. dependent variable Data collection on used questionnaire, Food Frequency Questionnaire status by testing hemoglobin levels. Analysis data Contingency Coefficient test. results showed that 27.8% subjects experienced menorrhagia, 54.2% had poor 58.3% good 25.0% underweight status, 13.9% anemia. Correlation tests pattern significantly related (p=0.048). Sleep (p=0.776), (p=0.908) (p=0.462) were not correlated Menstrual most influential factor incidence. longer period will cause greater chance subject experiencing
